Another great image! You are really getting that composition strategy down--all these bright colors working together (and against each other) to support the relatively less colorful but more important element. Really, you make it look easy with this.

Yeah, you're seeing it all... yer pickin' up what I'm puttin' down, man
The colors on this were interesting.. a real mix of techniques including some lightly laid-over textures, selecting all the different tentacle(color)s and playing with hue/Saturation and playing with a few other layers, such as the one I use for things like candlelight glow.

Being a slug, it will take quite some time for the slimy creature to swallow the conveniently secured meal -- and even longer to digest it. Bad luck for the beautiful sacrificial offering!

Even though it looks like it is eating her, those tentacles has other ideas. Sadly, those bones tells that she will not survive when this slug monster is done with her. The details to the girl and the monster are well done. Great work.

The alter and the slug that is on her body reminds me of that scene in Stargate SG1 where a smaller slug or parasitic worm slides onto the lovely woman who is laying on the alter ready to be possessed and her body to become the next queen of this alien race.
Even though this picture is different I do love the tentacle tongues that the slug has, well done.
