Client wanted this pinup based on a 1930s pulp cover from HORROR STORIES mag: www.pinterest.com/pin/331929435011968725/ I don't think this one was by H.J. Ward, but it reminds me of his stuff.It was my idea to change it up and have the girls with their arms suspended, pushing with their torsos. I love old pulps, so I always enjoy doing these.

Minor criticism. In comparison between the colour and B/W, the whip marks/welts appear to light in the colourized pic.

Yeah, I struggled with that, so I appreciate your noticing. I s'pose I could have simply left them black and painted red AROUND/under the black lines of the whip marks instead of trying so hard to control the line color.
