This Hero Lore piece is my FIRST real attempt at coloring my work in Photoshop 7, completed just minutes before submitting it here! So, I welcome input, but please be kind, as I'm new (blush). Anyway, the line art was done with my tech pens on paper about 2002. My wife found a cool tutorial for coloring for me this week, and I had today off, so I gave it a shot. Colored using mostly channels in Adobe PS7, with layers added in the end for textures, and finally the logo (I'm putting a non-flared/logoed version in scrap for comparison). The character is Hero, from my series Hero-Lore ( [link] ), Last of the Triialon and central figure to the series, as you might have guessed. I'm pretty excited about how it turned out, so I get the feeling I'll be trying more of this soon, perhaps with pencilled work as well.
