Description
This is Rydia, one of the leading ladies of Final Fantasy 4, and among my favorite characters of that game.

SPOILER WARNING!
You first meet her as a child, where she shows skill in white magic, black magic, and summoning. I've never seen someone who covers all three magical abilities right out of the gates.

Later in the story, she gets seperated from you, returning just in time to save your skin from Golbez. While her white magic is lost, her black magic and summons are a massive boon to your party.
END SPOILERS

While not a great fighter, her magic is her forte. She's the only character who can attack an enemy's weaknesses without changing her equipment. Her armor is very thin and weak, so putting her in the front of your party is a disaster. Besides, if you're lucky to get the Dragon Whisker (a whip), she can damage the dragons even better than Cecil armed with the Ragnarok (or Onion Blade if you have it). Otherwise, leave her in the back with a rod equipped casting her spells (since they boost her wisdom, which fuels her magic power).

Rydia would've been my favorite FF girl if Terra didn't appear in FF6, but they're both awesome.

And this is how I'll celebrate St. Patricks Day, by posting a girl who wears more green than Link!
