Description

“ARE YOU READY TO ROCK!?”

These twins are both Sailor Toxtricity.  They are Electric/Poison type with a base stat total of 502 each.  They evolve from Toxel at level 30, but which one you get is determined by its original nature.  Mints will not alter its evolutionary path.  Attack oriented natures (Adamant and Jolly to list a few) grant the yellow Amped form, while Special Attack oriented ones (Modest and Timid) give you the blue Low Key form.  Both have identical stat spreads, and have only slightly varied movepools.  Their abilities are Punk Rock, which sound-based attacks used do 30% more damage, and the user takes half damage from them as well (highly recommended), Plus or Minus (Amped or Low Key, respectively), which raises the Special Attack of itself and its ally if either have Plus or Minus as their ability.  They rarely have Technician, which strengthens moves by 50% if their battle power is 60 or less.  It is capable of Gigantamaxing, but it has not been released as of this writing.

Their cries sound like strumming guitars, but it’s really them rubbing on their protrusions their suit provides.  The number of protrusions is identical to the number of strings on electric (Amped form) or bass (Low-Key form) guitars.  They are capable of generating 15,000 volts of electricity, and absorb toxins in stagnant water to strengthen their poison attacks.  But neither of these things compares to their voices.  Yelling at full blast creates a shockwave powerful enough to shatter windows.  Your eardrums won’t fare much better.

Originally, their weapon was going to be the guitar they best represent, but I needed them to be able to hit something with it, and I did not want to test how well guitars can withstand damage, so I instead gave them a microphone as their weapon.  It helps amplify their voices, as well as allows them to use their magic.  The one wielded by the Amped Form has extra weight put on it, making it a useful melee weapon up close.  Low-Key Form’s has less weight, but the spells launched from it are stronger.  Striking their enemies with the microphones does lightning damage, and it can either paralyze or poison its target on contact.

Both are modeled after Hayley Williams of Paramore fame.  I was looking for women of the punk rock genre on Wikipedia, so I went through a long list of bands.  Once I saw Paramore’s name listed, I immediately knew who their singer was.  Hayley Williams was the only name I recognized, only because one of my former coworkers has a crush on her.  She is a very beautiful woman; I can see why my friend was smitten with her.  I needed both forms of Sailor Toxtricity to sing and hold a microphone, something Hayley is really good at based on the pictures I found.  She’s also good at dyeing her hair, and even has her own line of hair dye products (Good Dye Young).  It is not outside the realm of possibility that she has used these shades of yellow and blue, and I bet there is no color in the world she does not look good in, either for her hair or her clothing.

Attacks they both share:

Overdrive:  Sailor Toxtricity plays a chord on the protrusions on their suit, which produces a strong vibration and loud echo.  This hits all enemies.

Boomburst:  Sailor Toxtricity lets out an explosive sound that damages everything around them, be they friend, foe, or environment.  Earplugs recommended

Amped Form

Poison Jab:  Sailor Toxtricity strikes her target with her wand seeped in poison, dealing damage and possibly poisoning them

Throat Chop:  Sailor Toxtricity strikes her target in their throat, temporarily silencing them.  This prevents them from using their voice for anything for a few minutes.

Low Key Form

Sludge Bomb:  Sailor Toxtricity yeets a ball of sludge at her target, which may poison them.

Snarl:  Sailor Toxtricity rants about something, dealing damage and weakening her target’s magic power.  This affects all enemies.

This is so cool! I love how both of them look like twins and yet their own person too. Like they're similar or related.
