To celebrate my 3rd anniversary as a member of DeviantArt, I'm posting a picture of the guy who's pretty much responsible for my joining!

FYI, this is how Discord is going to look in my humanized FiMfics series.

He was created at Heromachine 3 but his eye color, tail tuft, and some tweaking of his mohawk was done by me via PaintShopPro. You have no idea how long it took me just to find the right kind of ears, let alone get the whole set done right! I had to do some clever MacGyvering with his antlers, but I'm proud of the end result overall.

It's because of all the great Fluttercord fanart here and all the AMAZING Fluttercord fics at FimFiction.net, and John DeLancie's performance as Discord that not only got me to join this website but gave me the metaphorical shove I needed to finally get started writing my fanfics!

Three years later, I have three stories posted and 50-60 WIP stories for various franchises!! Oh, the plot bunnies...worse than the Borg when it comes to being relentless and never-ending!

It's also been a menace to my ADD, but that happens whenever I get a new, great hobby (obsession). And I got ways to not let it get out of my control when I got HW or something else that's more important to do.

DISCORD FACTS

His parentage is unknown even to him. I know it, but I'm not telling

Once upon a time, the royal family of Equestria was having a picnic when King Stellaris and Queen Gaea (soft G) sensed strange and powerful magic nearby. In a large cave with a crystal tree, there was a stone star-shaped rock against one wall and tucked in the gap, was a 9-10 year old...thing. The King and Queen realized it was a young boy in pain from starvation and exposure. Despite the weird magic they sensed from him, they took him back to the picnic area where they could feed him and tends to his wounds.

The 9 year old Princess Celestia was a bit apprehensive but the toddler Princess Luna thought he was the most amazing and funny thing she ever saw.

By the time it was starting to grow dark, the Royal Family decided to take the boy in and raise him as a part of the family.

Life was good for many decades.

Celestia and the boy (I don't want to reveal his childhood name yet) played pranks on each other and the inhabitants of the palace that can take a joke, Luna idolized her brother to the point where he had to all but take over as her nanny, and the King and Queen gave him love and support.

The boy had his moments of wacky, but as long as he had one section of the palace grounds to go nuts with his magic, he could be pretty mellow and sweet for the rest of the time.

The powerful Starswirl the Bearded soon realized the boy had a gift in detecting and resisting Dark Magic and convinced the King and Queen to train him as a warrior to protect the populace.

While the boy wanted to help others and make his adopted parents proud, he hated Starswirl and the gruesome, harsh training. It was made worse as Starswirl made it no secret that he didn't consider the boy to be truly human, but a powerful creature that can mimic human behavior. And that most of the training had devolved into lab tests just short of dissection.

Despite that and the members of the court/Nobility that would whisper, "Freak. Monster. unholy abomination", life was as close to idyllic for a couple of centuries.

Then disaster struck! The [FILES REDACTED FROM ROYAL ARCHIVES. AND DESTROYED INTO ASHES]

Fast forward about a century, the vile creature now known as Discord seized the throne and exiled his "sisters" as one last bit of mercy.

Star Swirl managed to find the girls and the three of them traveled to find something that can defeat a mad chimera. They met three other people of special qualities and strength who joined their quest. (THIS IS NOT THE PILLARS OF EQUESTRIA FROM SEASON 7. This is something I came up with a couple of years ago)

The group find the strange cave with the crystal tree and within, The Elements of Harmony.

The six people each took one gem and made the long arduous journey back to the where the chimera and his insane magic reigned.

Big magic battle and then Discord was turned to stone!

1000 YEARS LATER

Discord breaks free but due to the stone imprisonment, he was rendered even more insane and instead of wreaking revenge on the Princesses, he caused goofy havoc in Ponyville and wastes time until the Mane 6 find the Elements and break free of his magic. Stone again!

Some months after, Discord breaks free (with some outside help of the sinister sort) and this time, his mind is as close to sane as it'll ever get.

Luckily, the Mane 6 and the Princesses reach a sorta compromise with Discord. They won't turn him back to stone and smash him with a hammer, and he'll stay in "house arrest" at the Castle of Two Sisters where he can use his magic as much as he wants in a ten mile radius.

And for now, the Mane 6 will visit him and try to reform him. After the first day, all but Fluttershy quits and declare him a lost cause.

Fluttershy doesn't give up and tries her best to show him true friendship.

DOES SHE SUCCEED? WILL DISCORD LEARN THE MAGIC OF FRIENDSHIP? WILL THE OTHERS GIVE HIM A CHANCE? WHY DOES DISCORD FEEL STRANGELY WARM WHEN FLUTTERSHY SMILES?
