Thanks for the great comment. I never seem to have the patience to make tuts but for the most part cutting Morgana out was done by taking channels and finding the one that she was the darkest in and the background was lightest in. use levels to basically make it a black and white image. With her being completely black and the background white. use the burn tool (set to shadows) to make the edges of her go to black. This will make a nice selection and keep the hair looking good on the edges. Then take that channel and make her a selection and then go to the layer that she's on. You will see your selection outlines her. Click the create a mask icon at the bottom of the layers pallet and it will knock out everything around her and keep the hair and edges of her looking good. Then just drag a background in.
That's part of what I did with that image. Hope it helps.

Oh wow Doc, this is just absolutely beautiful man. Morgana's amazing anyway but she's gonna love this. Please Please Please could you make a 2560 x 1024 sized version please. I can't grovel anymore than that without losing self respect.

Ill give it a try man. Off the top of my head I'm not sure what the dimensions of this are. Its as big as the original background was but I can prob make it bigger and still keep the quality up. Ill see what I can do with it.
