There we screams of terror when the three fawnlings threw themselves on Vaelerian. He tried his best to use the advantage of his magic, yet it was clear quite soon that his physical weakness was no match to the three attackers!
Eventually the frail body of the dainty lord disappeared somewhere between the hulking dark bodies of the villains, who laughed and howled in joy while eventually there was neither sound nor movement coming from Vaelerian anymore. Divi and Flurry stood pressed tight against Leia, their eyes wide while Flurry kept crying out Vaelerian's name, yet there was no response.

"STOP IT! NOW!" Leia suddenly found herself roaring, taking a firm step forward, her sisters gasping at her, while the shorter stag lifted his head, licking blood of his lips as he smirked at her, a smirk that made her fur stand on end.
"Or...what?" he spoke ever so smoothly, Leia lifted her head, trying to look as little intimidated as possible while the truth was, she was terrified, never before had she looke at a fawnling with eyes that cold and an energy glowing so very dark and murderous, this stag truly had a soul made of nothing but poison.

And then - he charged forward! Leia stood her ground, ready for the impact, when suddenly she heard a thud and angry snorts. Opening her eyes again, she saw a thivk vine pulling back the stag, wrapping around it like a snake. Leia herself only could gasp, before looking over her shoulder, her eyes growing wide with relief and joy when she saw "JAIME!" she called as she saw her betrothed come thundering with through the snow and with him Vaelerian's guard Odysseus and guardman Mordred, who she knew was one of the strongest stags within the guard. "You're screwed." she merely smirked, looking the stag dead in the eye as the lord and two guards rushed past her.

Leia didn't see much of the battle, yet she saw the vile trio being no match against Jaime and the guards. The princess however had a much more important focus - Vaelerian - who lay in the snow dyed red with blood like a broken little bird...
