Rhan-Tegoth originally appeared in "The Horror in the Museum", a short story H.P Lovercraft ghostwrote for Hazel Heald. In it, the owner of a wax museum makes sacrifices to the Old One before it turns on him. Rhan-Tegoth appeared again in a number of other stories.Related content

The Thing from Yuggoth that sometimes walks on 2 legs, sometimes on 4 - and sometimes on 6 ! The wax museum owner found a ruined city of the prehuman Gnoph-Keh people ,using directions from the Pnakotic Manuscript and in the center temple slept Rhan-Tegoth.
