Yes. I agree. The Simpsons' newer episodes have been highly criticized by other people for being terrible. But this episode, like you said, is a well-thought-out and written episode. And that is my humble opinion.

I find that a lot of hate to the newer episodes comes from 'It isn't the same'. A lot of episodes are still really good and some are better than the originals.
