even with the cure, getting the rampaging magenta monster to eat it would be impossible considering he had no interest in eating anything but other nyulops and drakens, on top of that, he had also escaped the summer house and no one was sure about where he were. they knew that if they were to get the cure into him, someone would have to put themselves in danger in order to throw the candy into his mouth as he attacked. a little draken who had not participated much in the nightmarish halloween offered to risk herself to cure dollop, and while the adults were hesitant to put a childs life at risk, they knew dollop had at no point actively been hunting the adults, greatly suggesting that he was only hunting other children, likely due to the size difference.

maybe an hour later galacti was walking out in the open were dollop had been reportedly seen not long ago, the adults hiding to be there to rescue her, but also staying out of sight and smell so they wouldn't scare of dollop if her were there. after a bit, galacti heard violent rustling in nearby bushes as something with big jaws and magenta fur lunged out at her. in reaction and with only one chance, she threw the candy into the wide open jaws quickly coming closer, tripping over her own feet as she did so. as the candy hit the back of his throat, he automatically closed his mouth, missing her and flying straight over her.

tumbling and rolling before coming to a stop, he stood up, wheezing and coughing as if he was choking and yet now as the mouth of the mask were slowely forced closed as it fused until it was just a mask again. the mask string broke, making the mask fall to the ground, the monstrous face looking back up at dollop as he wheezed, breathing heavily and feeling the tears down his cheeks. before the adults could even get to him to comfort him or anything, he ran off, dropping the magenta fur coat. he ran as fast as he could, ran to the only place he called home, his room. he could hide there right? none of this really happened right?

as he reached his room in the summer house, he saw the fallen and broken mirror, being careful not to cut himself, he brushed the shards to the side before going to his bed and hiding underneath it, curling up into a ball with his vap tail tip resting between his hands as he cried quietly.
