Baste hadn't been mad when icarus, in an attempt to give Farran the paper shuriken, had hit Farran on the head with it when it was thrown. The orange wyngro had laughed about it, but told the wyngling to be more careful as he could have hit Farran in the eye instead, which undoubtedly could have caused injury. The two hadn't stayed there for much longer as wyngro began getting sappy, so being responsible, Baste went home, taking Icarus with her. The rest of the evening was relaxed and after some food and more relaxing, maybe some more reading about magic, it was time to bed.

The next day, baste dropped off Icarus at the nook again so she could go to class, but when she reached it and heard what was going to happen, she collected some chocolate, a bowl, a plate of fruits, Farren and his friend Honey and told them to wait in a spot where they would do the assignment together. She was sure the two wyngrew was confused when she told them to wait there and suddenly sprinted off towards the nook. She ran as fast as she could, excited to get Icarus because she was sure he would like what was going on with this assignment. She was sure that Icarus was confused when she was there to pick him up this early, but while she helped him pack his things, she explained she was taking him with her to magic class this time. When they got there, making sure not to rush to much, she lead Icarus over to the little group of friends and grabbed some chocolate. She explained to Icarus that there were supposed to melt the chocolate with magic and that they were given fruits to dip in the melted chocolate, which was why she had brought him to class this time. She sat down on the other side of the bowl and started trying to heat up her hands enough to melt the chocolate, and after some tries and some focus, she succeeded and held the melting chocolate over the bowl.
