Description
2nd state.... much remains to be added:I have interiors, and some fine sunflowers/lilies/etc,
and gnarly boulders, a wider tableau, musical instruments,
incl a spinet, much art, and some signs of technology
and science...I wish a certain muse with fine skills
could augment or finish this... I proceed at a glacial pace...
I shall credit the collaborator presently...

Sidney, this composition is the best, believe me! The reader is the central personnage. He must keep the attention,though sitting in a "half-shadow" ( the entrance of
the "cave!). Just extend the sea on the right, or heighten the "castle" in order to hide the level of the sea?

No track here of this side "artificial addition" , some elements seeming added. I have noticed that in many a digital works. If you have juxtaposed foreground and background, it's well done! I like a lot this work. I like a lot this peaceful reader. I'm admirative watching the way you've used your picture. It's a new form of art, for me. I'm curious to see what you'll "do yet" with it!

and some techology and science artifacts...
...much else competes for my time...

This version is definitely the best one to me : the balance of the composition, the breathtaking stairs, the clothes, the face; the hands..Even the glasses aren't anachronistic. I just miss the sea on the right.

I agree, but as usual I gave in to the impulse to expand the tableau and make it busier.
