I did my first star photography the other night in death valley. This was my longest exposer with this camera, 15 min. I did do some 40min. exposers with my medium format camera but I won't have those developed for awhile.Related content

This is nice! I mean I have never done something like that with my canon rebel...I should give it a try. What was the film speed? I am gonna have to try this. Everything is so clear, and the colors compliment the stars!

you need to have the film speed as low as it goes so 100 is good, f2.8

Very nicely done, the time of day you chose is nice too, with the slight light at the bottom near the mountains. Death Valley is a cool place too!
