Just strolling around on the Internet the other day and ended up finding [this] , apparently from a 70's version of Jesus Christ Superstar. I've heard other Mario-esque music, but never the Starman theme before.So thought I'd make a small loop based on the intro. I can never seem to get flash to loop music properly (which explains the judder after 20 seconds or so).

The wave (or Starman fume as I like to call it), is a simple mask with a rainbow gradient running through it. I was going to go for an afterimage/ghost effect like in the [Jackson five - Blame it on the boogie video] , but I felt Luigi would end up being lost in it.
