Really striking color palette here. I think you utilized the crosshatching technique well here, you used an under-bright color and then went over it with reds with the dog itself? Don't really have too much critique, other than that I think the longer line going through the vapor near the top right is a bit too long/unbroken. Unless you wanted the eye to travel that way!

Thank you! You were close, I colored the dog with the darker reds and pinks first, then I used the brightest colors last.Β
Oh crap I never really noticed that line. I know for the sake of composition I wanted to break up the page and to let the eye travel in that flow from the dog's tail to the top right corner of the smoke, but that line is a bit much. Next time I will be more careful with long, straight lines, the more I look at it the more distracting it is. Oh well. Thank you again!

I adore the way you subtly work in lines, hatching, and geometric formes into organic subjects... It is really unique and interesting to look at! I think this piece is amazing overall. I want to help and give advice to improve, but I can't find anything I'd change!
