I'm pretty sure cel shading kills everything but painting just takes way too long!Anyway, here's a design for Quetzacoatl. He changed so much from my first sketch. I'll probably post those later in the week since I think they're more interesting than this.
I think I just dislike the colors? I don't know. I'm going to turn it in and we'll see what critique I get.

Wow, this is such a beautiful design! All the rectangular shapes make it feel really true to the ancient carvings and paintings, while the colors feel really realistic. Nice colored outlines too.

Overall I REALLY like this. I do have to say, though, the head and face kinda look like they should be on a robot. But the colors are fine with me, I think it's a really unique take on the character.

oh wow, very nice!!! it was a little hard finding the eyes (or are those nostrils?) and the feathers tend to look a bit more like a cloth.. but i love it; great colors, great design!

Same as the person above about the eyes, I thought the red squiggles on the sides of the face were massive eyebrows! I think the eyes are cool where they are though, it is kind of a trick!
