You're very welcome! I was very interested, when looking through your gallery, at all the experiments and limits you and Gwarf photographed. I was very fascinated, as I am a huge fan of all things scientific. I'm glad you were honored alongside my deviation selection!

how did you light the bulb if it's not connected to any electrical source?

Oh my goodness, you and gwarf are the most creative people I know, this is just fantastic, I have a question though, My camera only 3 fps, do you think it'll be enough to do this type of thing?

Intriguing.
Nice progression as well.
Was this manipulation? Pretty good if it is. Ive been practicing with bulbs myself. Fast shutter and the likes.

I really want to try that now. One question, where did you power it? because it is obviously unscrewed

I'd say before uploading a print, fix the text so that the picture's title is "Lightning Bulb" , not "Lighting Blub"... I'm sure you mean't it the first way.
Fantastic capture though.

awesome....
how the hell did you kept that bulb in the air ? were you shooting in a studio ?
anyway, excellent work...
technically perfect, and the beauty of the phenomenon gives a great artistic feeling
π: 0 β©: 1
dojoh In reply to kil1k [2005-07-16 01:35:12 +0000 UTC]
yes we did shoot in some kind of studio.
Actually the bulbs wereat their socket. this effect is done via photomanipulation.
perhaps you could even achieve it if you put it on a black platform and conect it with some wires. but that would have been much more difficult.
greetings
Ole
ps: thanks for all your great pictures you give us!

This is a kick ass idea!!!
How on earth do you do it? Is it connected to electricty?
What did you use for the black background?
Keep this creativity up!!!
And don't forget to share it as well

ps. just curious, how many bulbs were used at the end of the session?
