Ohmigod. How was this taken? How did you manage to run current through the bulb without having it in a socket? Incredible. I thought this was a fractal at first...the fact that it's a photograph is simply amazing.

i agree- it seems too sharpened- especially where the smoke is. perhaps if you selected an area- if you want to i mean. i like this composition still. may i say the last one on the right looks like a penis almost?

well its one of my tics that i love very sharp images with great contrasts. but perhaps this one got too high high contrasts. i'm not at home and only got my laptop monitor which is not thaaat good.
thanks for the comment

I think the image has been over sharpened, it doesn't seem very smooth at all and the smoke doesn't look natrual. However this is a very cool idea, and the presentation is very professional. Well done!

Amazing, I love how the flame gets bigger as the line progresses. It's so beautiful, oddly since it is a lightbulb. Heheh.

This is so unique and beautiful. I love the way you've captured the flames and the way they curl at the tips as if licking the darkness. I also really like the progression from no flame to really big flame. Wonderful work
