Chrona is a boy, in the Anime, they call him "He" and Medusa's Son multiple times.
In the Manga, however, they never reveal his gender.
I, personally, see him as a boy, because of the subtle hints of it, but, they never actually tell you because they WANT the fandom to argue over it.

If you watch the commentary they say that Crona is gender-neutral character. The only reason they refer to Crona as 'he' is because 'he' is kinda the default pronoun. The veiwers of Soul Eater can decide whether they want Crona to be male or female.

because they didnt know if it was a boy or a girl so they just chose a boy. type it on google, either cronas gender or crona interview. the creators havent decided it its a boy or girl.

Well, in the japanese version, they dont say he or she. They have a word in Japanese that can be used for both a girl and a boy, so nobody knows. And Crona I don't think Crona has a crush on maka, i just think she looks up to her and cares alot for her. And no, you're not right, actually. Neither of us are. Even the creator of soul eater said in an interview that he doesn't know whether to make it a girl or a boy. So shut up and stop thinking you're so smart.
