For a dear friend of mine who is having a little trouble with digital drawing - for you *CakeChan-x3 !Linework is the best thing I know how to do or else I would have tried to do more, and this is how I do all my pictures (and the reason why it takes so fecking long!) I hope people will find this helpful, and if you don't please don't complain because we all do things differently and this is how I do linework from a sketch (since I find it impossible to draw straight onto the computer - surly I'm not alone in this).

it does make it easier to do the linework
just out of curiosity, do you draw straight onto the computer or trace lines from a sketch like i do?

i do it just like you do x33 by straight you mean like using a linework layer in SAI? the curve tool i mean

i mean just drawing onto the computer without any guidelines. i prefer tracing though, cant seem to draw right when its just on the computer XD

lol, ive never thought of myself as a tidy sketcher before, but i guess something i do should be tidy since my handwriting is illegible even to me XD
i really hope it helps cake-chan, though i cant really do much more than show how i am used to doing lines
and youre very welcome my dear! im sure that with practice you'll get used to digital, just takes time... lots and lots of time...

LOL. You are a tidy sketcher but my sketches...Look like something with graphite claws took a fit at the paper...
I can't read my handwriting either...xD;;
I'm sure it will help, although that's not the only area I'm stuck on @v@;;;

haha, well so long as you know where the lines are thats the important thing XD
i wish i could help with colouring and other stuff too but im still learning myself, i thought that since my lineworks tend to be adequate i should do something to help people who need it
