Description
Finally making some good headway on the Tudors Scene Maker collaboration with Azalea from Azalea's Dolls . Although the TV series storyline was very true to real life, the costume designs took a lot of liberty. It's been a lot of work, and fun, trying to figure out how to draw clothes for this one. Thank goodness Azalea made a great start on this artwork, and I'm incorporating additional details, such as the fur sleeves.Progress updates will slowly be posted on my Behind the Scenes page .

It is so awesome that you are matching the contemporary pictures to the doll as well as the images from the varying Tudor-set series that are rolling around...that red there would have been OMG EXPENSIVE. XD

I freakin love the Tudor England both the actual history & the series (even though it's historically inaccurate in many ways. I just see it as for fun XP)

Thank you thank you thank you for bringing Tudor styles back to the Tudors!! (See www.gofugthyself.blogspot.com for detailed critique of the show's travesties, among others.) BTW, don't forget the partlet - a fairly sheer blouse-like garment that covered the neck and shoulders above the bodice. Even prostitutes didn't walk around with bare collarbones.

Yeah I was surprised to find out just how much liberty the show took! But it's understandable. The game will have realistic elements, as well as show-inspired pieces, and our own added touches.
