Apart from the cheaper prize money, the only thing I didn't like was how the stop signs for stopper letters went away, in favor just three simple lights.  But the sounds were the same.  Also, it fascinated me how they pretended like they weren't cancelled, by bringing the very last champion (George) from the 1984-90 version onto the first episode.

This, like Wheel Of Fortune, had to have its values and rewards slashed. From a worthy $5000 jackpot to $1000 found in the sewers.
Still, it was a fun game to watch.
