Speedpaint sort of thing, I'm not sure how long it took me. Maybe an hour and a half.
The blue stuff is meant to be water, I swear! But at least there actually is a background in this. I keep on telling myself I need to practice those.
The animal is Icthyostega, a prehistoric amphibian from about 360 million years ago, and one of the earliest known tetrapods. I've probably drawn it all wrong, but it just wouldn't look as cute if it was really ugly with stubby legs. Anyway, I drew this because prehistoric animals that aren't dinosaurs don't get any love, and THEY SHOULD DO.
