Finally, not a commissioned piece after a long time!

Gender bend of Arngrim from Valkyrie Profile
If you're familiar with the game, you must know who this is XD

I made this drawing quite a long time ago for a contest about gender bend game characters that i wanted to participate~
But it took me too long to finish, so i didn't submit it... I also forgot to submit it to my gallery, hahaha XD

I really really enjoy doing paintings on this drawing, even though it's very HARD to do! I need to pay attention to a LOT of things unlike the usual drawing that has an outline as a distinct boundaries between colors...
You may notice that i took more effort on the upper part of the body than the lower, hahaha XD

I wish i could do something like this again another time

These color combination are rather tricky, I tried to remake something with these color scheme, but always came out differently, hahaha XD

Warm and cold colors are soooo awesome together! Colors are the hardest for me XD But by doing it right, they add more dynamic to the picture - like this! Β

Yes, I agree! Because we get a bit of both XD
Aaah don't worry, it was hard for me at first because colors are more complicated than drawing
But I know that you draw pretty good, so bet you won't have a problem with colors later if you practice on colors as long as you've practiced drawings

Have you seen the guy genzoman? He uses red and blue very much, and its effective! I must practice that much more
People like to recognize themselves in pictures, illustrations etc, and those colors seems to be the most used/basic.Β

So you liked his coloring style, I see! I agree though, blue and red are popular basic colors to be used XD

Looks great, I could recognize the character rather easily (ah VP, what a game !) Could have been a little more bulkier, though, but it's fine. Nice colors and the blending of fire and the blue armor works well !
