Description
I had to post it just because I'm very proud of it....Vendo ...Dulce de CHIVERRE... Delicioso, que prepara mami. vale 2mil el paquete con 500gr
Chiverre is a strange fruit, that you can find in Costa Rica and in other countries of Latinamerica. It's cooked for long hours in large pots with brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, mint, figs and fig leaves...
It turns out to be delicious... people eat it just like that or put in to small wheat flour empanadas.
Here in CR it's traditionaly eaten in Holy Week, when the fruit is ripe and ready to prepare
It's also called Victoria in Colombia (I know it because my mom is colombian)
