I thought that instead of moving on to a CGI show (no offense though) and the live-action movies, Beatrix Potter should have accepted Walt Disney's request to make a fully animated movie. That film would've been made in 1944, and it'd be a package film, being dedicated to Beatrix Potter and adapting seven stories: The Tale of Peter Rabbit, The Tale of Benjamin Rabbit, The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies, The Tale of Ginger and Pickles, The Tale of Pigling Bland and The Tale of Mr. Tod. At the end of the film, there would be a tribute that says, "In Loving Memory of Beatrix Potter, a woman who created the tales of a rabbit and his friends."

After the HUGE success, Disney opted more films based on Potter's tales. The next film is The Tales of Squirrel Nutkin, which would be another package film to adapt seven stories: The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin, The Tale of Tom Kitten, The Tale of Two Bad Mice, The Toby-Poly Pudding (a.k.a. The Tale of Samuel Whiskers), The Tale of Little Pig Robinson, The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes and The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck while also adapting the nursery rhymes of Appley Dapply and Cecily Parsley into elements to the film. It would be made in 1952.

Another third and final package film based on Beatrix Potter's stories would be The Tales of Jeremy Fisher, adapting eight stories: The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher, The Tailor of Gloucester, The Tale of the Pie and the Patty-Pan, The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse, The Story of Miss Moppet, The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse, The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit and The Tale of Tuppenny. The film would've released in 1964. Danny, if you preferred Disney making a Peter Rabbit movie, this is for you.
