They're both rumors.  They're not green-lit movies as of yet, so there is a strong chance they'll never be made.  Honestly, I hope they won't be.

Hehe thank you my friend!  and yes, her version is always the best version <3  The movie itself is a timeless classic (and should never be remade despite what some people may think)  I'm glad you like how it came out!

Oh god, I can't imagine this film ever being remade. Ugh I don't want to think about it, it sounds awful. The film is perfect the way it is!
I was frightened when I heard about the new Ghostbusters film XD My friend described it as being a 'reimagining' rather than a remake, but I'm gonna reserve judgement until I see the movie XD I just hope they don't fuck up one of my favourite films

And I don't believe the movie needs a comeback.  It's perfect how it is, and for it's time.  A remake would destroy it, just as the Ghostbusters remake was a complete disaster.  Hollywood needs to stop remaking great films and allow more originality to shine on the big screen.

That is my opinion.

Maye a remake of RR wouldn't be a good idea either,it's just that I would've liked to have seen Roger make a comeback,along with Spawn and a few others. And yeah,you're not the only one to tell me that Hollywood isn't being original anymore either,but I get what they're saying plenty.

I haven't seen the new Ghostbusters,nor do I wish to either,those were never the real Ghostbusters to begin with.

I understand what you're saying.  For the characters to comeback as a continued story, yes maybe an idea could spawn, but I'm not sure whether Hollywood would do it right or not.  Especially since Bob Hoskins is now deceased.  Maybe an animated short film or something.
