As much as I like Ada as a character and such. I really have to say, her outfit is not Practical....LOLDo you get the joke?
In RE:Zero you pick up a diary from one of the assistants and he mentions Wesker as Practical Al and Birkin as Scholar Will. So....I am making fun of the facts, Wesker is all about practicality, ergo you have this. Wesker telling Ada her outfit is not plausible for a mission.

This is precisely the very first thing I thought when I saw Ada running around in a dress shooting zombies.
Then again, I could say this for many other characters in other games...but Ada is probably the most obvious.

But I love the fact she can do kung-fu in that dress and high heels. Better than in Re2, where her dress was maybe more practical...
So, I conclude her athletic abilities increase as she dresses like that.
