In this day and age, people repost artwork on blogspot, or tumblr, or wherever and no credit is given where credit is due.

I see comments there saying "where can I get a print of this?" So sufficient to say, I lost a sale. I prefer to lose a sale by someone who can't see past the watermark than someone seeing it elsewhere and possible buying more of my stuff. By putting a watermark on my files, it ensures that they can find my store.

Even though this is 'easily reproduceable' my default is to put a watermark on ALL my artwork on here. If you can't see past that for the artwork, then I apologize, but I'm not changing my policy.

P.S. Instead of complaining about my art, maybe you should go post some of your own...seriously, 5 years on here and you don't have a single piece posted? You just lost all credibility in your argument.

Wow, nice ending there. Sadly you seem to not push the gallery button or look at the posted deviant pieces/whatever. I do got some stuff up here, I just don't have it on my front page.

Back on topic;

The generic deviant art watermark probably do not give you any increased publicity as it is most probably ignored by the general viewer, due to every other artist having a near identical one here.

I understand that you won't listen to what I say now, but why don't you make a personal watermark that looks good, and is actually promoting yourself.

Apparently I'm an ass for complaining on my facebook last night about my six hour wait in the ER before even being taken back into a room and then when I finally do get back there the nurses are so loud and doing nothing but talking about how drunk they got the night before and how good the food they just ate was (when I wasn't allowed to eat) that I totally see why I waited six hours. Not to mention that my blood pressure was already 195 over 117 when I got there. But hey... that free speech thing doesn't exist anymore right? If we actually complain about something that bothers us we're considered Asses... Pardon me for not putting up a front and acting like life is a bed of roses and everyone and everything is full of rainbows.

As a co-human I feel bad for your visit to the hospital, and complaining of lousy service should never be hated on. What I did here is not the same, I'm hating on the disfiguration of art by "#¤& ugly watermarks.

But what I can't figure out is; do you just hate me, agree with me or did you reply to the wrong post?

I do agree that watermarking such a picture seems like a waste, but on the other hand I can see it is this particular person's work and the want to protect it even though it's easily reproduced. *head desk* Sorry I think i needed a place to complain that wasn't facebook and felt the need to share in your assery.
