for the first box, i had a hard time finding a character that's pretty similar to sorrel, so this part took the longest to complete orz after narrowing it down, i decided to go with kino from kino's journey www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDm6cL… i love the 2003 anime a lot, made me deep think or just straight up made me depressed, i love kino as a character and i had fun drawing my lil sorrel as kino :> the 2017 anime.. ehh it was ok, nothing worthwhile to mention, the op is nice tho www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rBNn0… but not as good as the og >:0 www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMDia_… the ai enhancement is lil ehh but it's the only thing i can find that has clips from the 2003 anime that isn't a review... it's so hard finding stuff from the old show, i love that one the most :<;;; the series has 1 season and 2 movies, the 2017 anime is season 2 iirc, all of them are good and worth the watch, i especially like the movies (going off of memory here) where kino's reflecting on herself and doesn't know exactly who she is, the subtitles reflecting that uneasiness with different colors, i found that really neat o3o
borry drew harold as a character from nabari no ou www.youtube.com/watch?v=llxY8a… i never saw this show so i dont have any idea what it's about, but i may watch an ep or 2, it looks interesting, i like the op song a lot :0c

the third box was our lil collab, i came up with the idea of having both of em read together, tho sorrel's more of book-reader than harold. i drew the lineart while borry colored! here's the lineart before adding color x.com/Domoe15/status/171479816… borry had some trouble with coloring sorrel so i made a lil chart for him to follow, he did an excellent job with my line work o3o!
