I was looking for a visual element to characterize the culture of this fantasy world.I decided for a hawk seen as a sacred bird.

In my 2d pieces I apply all the concepts I've learned in 3d rendering, layering details as Occlusion, Shadows, Lights, Higlights, Reflection, Dirt etc...I find this method very efficent because let me focus on one task at time.
