I love default male Shepard. He's so damn gorgeous! And that voice... I could listen to him talk all damn day. That man is just too good looking and between him and Kaidan, I'm on overload. My Shepard, also default male faced, wears the hoodie and he looks FINE in that too.

OH MY GOD! I would die. I know Legendary pictures bought the rights to make the movie, but I wonder who they're gonna cast. Mark Vanderloo would be a great choice, but I don't think he speaks English very well. I could be wrong though. Matthew Fox *Lost* would be a good Commander Shepard and I'm sorry, but Jensen Ackles *Dean: Supernatural* as Kaidan Alenko would make me melt. Or, they could just make it all CGI and use the voice actors... lol... I'd be ok with that

I seen some video of him giving an interview, and his english is good i think, i couldnt say he's dutch. I dont think he would be in the movie though, never heared anyone bring that option up, but damn it would be just perfect. Matthew Fox would be good choice too, so as Jensen Ackles ^^
Theres a short movie on youtube with Mark Vanderloo, he's really like Shepard in it. If you'd like to check it : [link]

Yeah... Those two together would be the death of me. I'd miss everything in the movie because I'd just be staring
Gosh... He looks aged and tired in that. Makes perfect sense too. I'm sure Shepard aged a number of years because of the Reaper War.

Well i guess he's pretty old for the role, but still, i doubt anyone could be a better Commander Shepard. Cant wait to hear some news about the movie though.

Shepard is getting up there though. In ME3 alone, he's 32 I believe. First game he was 29, the ME2 he was 31. Kaidan is one of the older characters because in ME3, he's 35 since he started in ME1 at 32.
I agree though, he would be a good Commander Shepard. I think the movie would be amazing in CGI like the Take Earth Back trailer. Then, you give everyone their original voices. That would be awesome.
I guess we'll just have to be patient. There so little out about the movie that it's nearly forgotten. Probably because the trilogy is still so new. *Meaning the third game really*

Well i guess they could do something about his age markings and all if they would really want him to be Shepard. Thinking about that, it would be really good in CGI. Im starting to like that idea. Well, i hope they will make a better ending for the movie :\

I hear the movie won't follow the games, but it'll be a completely different story with the original characters and a male Commander Shepard.
On the subject of endings, I heard a rumor that April or May or so, Bioware's gonna release some DLC called 'The Truth'. It'll have some multiplayer DLC, but it mainly an epilogue that'll tie everything together and depending on which ending you choose, will greatly affect how the DLC plays out.

Now im quite curious about that different story, i hope they wont ruin it. There were a lot great games that had a terrible movie adaptation.. hope Mass Effect wont join the club.
If Bioware will really release an epilogue DLC, that i can only appreciate. For such a great trilogy, it really had an unworthy ending.

I didn't all out hate the endings, I just didn't particularly like them. It took Bioware balls to do a Stephen King ending, but... there were just too many questions left unanswered. I picked the destroy ending myself and after the credits *SPOILERS* I got the Shepard takes a breath bit but what threw me for a loop, was that he was laying in concrete and dirt. Where are those on the Citadel? I'm curious to see what happens next.

That was my problem too, they left too many things unanswered. And why they had to destroy the mass relays in all endings.. I already played it throught 3 times, but i never get that ending when he 'wakes up', i have no idea why. I heared lots of theories about that anyway, he just imagined all that part since the reaper hit them, he was indoctrinated the whole time. I saw a fan made video that fully explains the ending, about the indoctrination and all...im really curious how will Bioware come out of this.

You'll get that ending if you reimport an ME3 character back into the beginning of the game and play through again. That's one way to get it.
I am too. That hallucination/Indoctrination theory is actually pretty clever if you ask me. I can see it happening considering it was Harbinger who blasted Shepard with the laser.

Bioware did come up with an article about it some days ago, they said they cancelled the indoctrination ending back in november, for some reason... i hope they were bluffing, because it is the best explanation i've heared so far.

I think I read that Bioware had to rush a new ending when the original one they had planned leaked, so they rushed what we got at the last minute and by the looks at it, they did it so they could concentrate on the real ending via DLC. It wouldn't be the first time they finished a story via DLC. They did it with Balder's Gate if I remember right.

I havent heared of this before, it even makes sense. After the credits, that video when an old man talks about Shepard to a kid, the kid wants another story of the shepard, and the old man says it is late, but one more story. I wonder if that one more story is supposed to be the epilogue DLC.

It's entirely possible. If that rumor is somewhat true, then we'll see in April/May I guess. I wonder if they'll do a Mass Effect 4, which I would squee about even if it doesn't involve Commander Shepard. Maybe his bloodline or something, but either way, I love the universe. It's fantastic.

I did read something about Bioware suggesting to keep the save files. Im sure we'll hear more about Mass Effect's world, but they did say the trilogy will end Shepard's story. That sucks, i really love the damn commander ^^ I think any other Mass Effect game would be a bit empty without him/her. But still, it would be great to hear more of ME's world.

I heard that too. I definately plan on keeping my save files. The game is great all around and still fun to play. I knew this was supposed to be the end of Commander Shepard, and it's sad. We all just kinda fell in love with him. He's really set his mark on the universe and not just from the Reaper War.

I guess we'll see. I fell in love with the man. To me, Shepard is male because if I'm gonna stare at someone's ass all day, it might as well be his Shepard is pretty much a cash cow anyways.

^.^ Liked that did ya? Plus... His voice is just dreamy. I could listen to him talk all day long. Mark Meer has been added to my list of people I could just listen to all day.

100% agree. I'll admit... Sheploo attracted me to the game in the first place, then I fell head over heels for Joker and Kaidan so NOW... I'm got three pixal crushes. Thanks Bioware -_-

Why thank you. It took awhile to compile it lol. Of course, you can pacify my ass just by having me listen to them. I'd be doomed. So doomed.
