This is Victor.
Asked by his friends, he agreed to go swimming together.
When he changed to swimsuit, however, he clumsily and dramatically tripped on the beach, colliding hard with the surfboards that were lined there to be picked up by surfers. The collision actually turned Victor flat like another board, perfectly suitable for surfing.
So while his unsuspecting friends enjoyed themselves swimming in the sea, he was picked up by a stranger, used for some minutes, then abandoned floating on the surface of the water.
When finally his friends were about to go back, they realized that the abandoned bizarre-looking board floating lonely was actually none other than their missing mate; but they didn’t know what to do about his strange form. So they just brought him back as he was...

It’s been quite some time since I last posted a picture here. In fact, more than a year! I’ve finally overcome my laziness and drawn something again — it’s simple and kind of primitive but I hope you like him and the very short story I made up to give context to the picture.
