Thanks Barry.  Lighting in Iray  remains a frustration, but I appreciate the comment.  And yeah, she's a keeper!

You're most welcome, yes lighting can be frustrating at times I struggle with it as I usually have a certain look in mind when I render a scene and ohhhh the number  of times I re render a scene is unbelievable hence why my posts are few and far between lol. The silly thing is nobody but I (or the artist doing the scene) know what the look is that I was going for, so I suppose I shouldn't be so fussy ..

Well, remember that the only opinion that counts is your own.  If others like it too, that's a nice bonus.   But if others rave about it and you're not satisfied, well . . . .

True I am just to fussy its like with poke through or feet /shoes stuck through the floor or hand/ finger in body. Some peopel don't seem to care they just post them like that anyway. For me its a re render if I see any, and some renders are anywhere from 2 -12 hrs a shot so I try to pick the mistakes up as it is rendering but at times I will be working so don't get to see them till the image is done..

Oh thank goodness. I thought I was the only person who hated indoor lighting in Iray with the passion of a thousand suns made of angry bees.
