Hey there
This is an upcoming project I'll work on the next time. An eComic book - with roundabout 35 pages (yehaaaaaa
)I'm still in the conceptual phase and trying to find the style that fits the story and the mood.
I'll come up with some different takes for that page in the near future. So - stay tuned

Great. I quite like the style. It's a small thing but not sure about the wheel extending out of the border though, it doesn't seem to serve a purpose really.

Well - I use such elements (wheel) as a style element and to add a bit more depth to it.
Its really not necessary, but a good way to break the border and to add a bit of dynamic.

Yep gotcha, those are great things to do. I guess in this specific case I feel that because you've added depth with the wheel and brought the car out of the frame, the guy looks like he is closer to the girl than the car, but the size difference implies otherwise. The car also isn't in perspective, though I feel that it should be. Is that intentional as well? I guess I'm saying that wheel is creating some visual inconsistencies that I had to work at to solve.
In general the style is great, I especially like the little square graphics and the grunge on the border.

Yup - you're right! I didn't focused on perspective, anatomy and expression for the style test.
I'm still in a sort of progress. Later on - if I'm happy with the style - I'll take care of anything.
But for now - searching the right style.
But it seems that a lot of peoples like the style. So I guess I'm doing a view pages in that style and see how it will turn out.

Yeah - I know! Sorry for that. But those actors are cheaper than Brad and Angelina
Maybe I'll get some better actors on the next style page

Hoff ich doch!! Im moment hab ich noch keine genauen Angaben was es am Ende wird. Aber auf jeden Fall didgital (und da geh ich doch von diversen iVersionen aus).
Stimmt! Aber mir ging es im Moment eher um den Stil als um exakte Anatomie, Poportionen, etcβ¦
Wenn ich dann mal den passenden Still habe - geht's in das fine tuning
