In surgery you don't have a regular tap, you have taps you turn on either by hover motion or by your feet so you don't contaminate your hands, same for soap... but what do I know, I'm just a stupid woman, scientists and doctors are men right?

Thats true - but this is sort of a fictional room and the focus was on mood and story telling. And not to be as realistic as possible.
Hmm - may I ask a question?
Do you have some problems with your gender or the overall world? This is just a concept.
And to be honest - I give a piece of "cake" on your gender. if you like the concept - no matter if you're female or male - its fine and if not - fine as well.
Those concepts are for a story I'm developing and I don't try to change the world with those. If you'd like to change the world - I guess I'm the wrong address.

Looks good. One thing you could do to make it more realistic would be to add an BSL-2 or BSL-3 sign here or there, and maybe a sharps container.

For sure - If you take a look at some of my earlier image (character concepts), you'll see that the "infected" having that tentacles. One of the result for being infected is that your whole body anatomy changes during that particular process. Nothing will be as it was before.

I would probably imagine this way being the only way to interrogate a turned creature. They will not speak, they only wish to harm. Investigate from the inside, and find out how they tick. Though this place seems rather clean, something that should be praised, but to me it strikes fear or almost sadness to think about what these "doctors" do to the creatures.
Perhaps this might be one of the first floors, maybe there is something worse in these halls and labs.
