First in a series of publicity photos from SL Magazine featuring “The Women of Connolly Air Force Base.” CAFB is a top secret base located somewhere in a remote area of the Middle East. The military agreed to allow SL Magazine to feature the women who make up a large portion of the base personnel to show the folks back home the type of work they do. We at SL magazine agreed to do it but without editorial censorship from the military. We agreed all pictures would be in good taste and contribute to a positive image of the US military. We think this first picture in the series meets that criteria.
