Description
So, revisiting the basics, this time with different proportion exercises.it's incredible the amount of bad habits you'll find when facing your skills against solid Theory and technique. At least that's what's happening to me and it's really inspiring me to keep going.
I'm working with the book "Figure Drawing for all it's worth" by the truly amazing Andrew Loomis.
If anyone is interested in Andrew Loomis' books, just send me a note
I don't think there's need to tag this as mature content, btw.

I've always wanted to draw people so I finally decided to tackle it by using Loomis' book as well. However, it's slow going. If you have any advise for a noob it would be greatly appreciated.

Nice work man. Although you may not have intended it, but this is perfect refference material for people who are learning the basic human for (like I am).

Thanks dude
Yeah well, I think I'm posting this stuff here 50% to help me keep going with it and 50% to help others and maybe inspire them a bit and although I tried hard to achieve the right proportions so this could be good source material, I think that there are a few sections that need more work in order to be solid reference, especially with women.

Yeah, I agree. I need to practice a lot more with female proportions, including heads but that's a whole other problem
Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it

Thanks! Yeah, practice is something so good for us that it should be done everyday, but didn't give it the proper time until now. This time I will sow the habit no matter how hard it gets.
I think that before, my main problem was that I demanded a lot from myself, thus I always ended frustrated with my progress. The important thing is to set reasonable goals and be persistent.
Oh and indeed, Loomis is THE MAN!!!

You're welcome! And, you know, I've always been really hard on myself too. I'm my own worst critic. DX But yes, practicing from life is always important. :3
