Description
You'd been swimming for quite some time when you started to feel more resistance as you pushed your hands through the water. Looking down at them you noticed webbing growing between the fingers. You re focus your eyes to your feet as they too are changing into fin like flippers, the skin of both hands and feet turning grey and scaly. A feeling of excitement comes over you as you realise that you're turning into some kind of human aquatic, maybe you're even going to become like a merman or mermaid you think. In your excitement you don't hesitate to try out the improved propulsion. But as you try to swim your arms and legs begin to feel unresponsive and you barely move at all. Looking through the water at your limbs again, your face turns to one of shock as what looks like fish heads begin to appear pushing their way from you skin. They break away as fully formed fish taking your arms and legs with them. Your heart begins to pound, then it changes to a heavy flutter and all at once your whole body feels like it's fluttering and writhing under your skin as it too turns grey and scaly. You look on in horror as various fish heads, bodies and fins push out and break away from your former body into many fish. The last to change is your head. It begins to split from the tip into half a dozen more fish and they peel away like a banana skin as you black out. You all school together and swim away frightened, as you would be after such an unexpected and shocking ordeal.
