Dammit! I forgot! All I remember is that he has brown hair and a mustache. He wears a trench coat and he's a con artist of some kind. I believe he wants to get rid of a lot of peoples homes and keep their money for himself after a tornado destroyed Dorothy's town. He went to jail for what he have done.Β

Hhehehehe and I guess that HE wanted to take Dorothy's home, AND thus he represented the jester in Dorothy's 'dream' or such and the actions reflected at the end with him arrested or Whisked away because the tornado plan to get the land from the tornado damage BACKFIRED on him or back-winded him heheeh

It wasn't a dream it was actually something that happened. Because if you read the original book Oz was actually a real place in Dorothy's world.

How was the movie and TWO questions :3 1. WHY did the Jester want to turn people into marionettes, 2. HOW did he get the wand, 3 and I know I said two-BUT 3. DOES he reverse the curse his wicked sister put on him. These are jester-related questions.

He sangΒ a few songs in the movie. The first one they played is probably the one you are talking about or it could be the one where he explains his relationship with his sister. The one with his sister was an enjoyable song to listen to. I liked how he's diabolically laughing and Martin Short's voice is just off the roof! He makes such an awesome Jester. He sang the sister song to Dorothy and pretty much the whole gang in his castle. The first song he sang by himself while looking over Dorothy and The Wiser through the crystal ball. But I do have to say he is a creepy little guy. The way he slowly caress the crystal ball weirded me out a bit. I should say this villian was pretty diabolical. He tricks people and he gets away with it. Until the end when the tables turned on him thanks to our main heroine of the film (Dorothy Gale).

He wanted to turn them into marionettes because he wanted to control Oz with manipulation and like the trickster he is he likes to control people like puppets. There's a song scenario where he explains his relationship with his sister the Wicked Witch of the west. She was quite a jerk to him. All he wanted to do was to impress his sister to show her that he's as good a villian I guess. The movie actually shows the witch (looks more like the one from the MGM film). The wand was actually a part of the witches broom and the ball on it is something he added (I'm pretty sure that it was something he added since he does have a few tricks up his sleeves). Dorothy broke the ball that contains power to trick and control people. He begged to his knees that him and Dorothy together will rule Oz but Dorothy declined and through the ball in the twister he created. Which he jumped up and ran for it causing himself to get sucked into the twister and never returned. So he's pretty much 'gone with the wind' (lol, classic movie pun).
The movie was charming and the music was enjoyable to listen to. The animation wasn't that bad either. A few animation errors here and there (mostly with the Owl jumping around a lot). I like how the human world is in comparison with the Oz world. Both their worlds are in deep trouble and the human Jester who is a con artist X3.
I hope it answered your questions. I was sort of 5 minutes late to see the 5 minute half of the beginning since the movie theater is not close to my house anymore. I had to watch it at the closest County closer to mine.
