I remember this cartoon very well.  But it seemed very illogical at the end.  Elmer Rudd was intensely determined to kill Bugs Bunny, so why did Elmer feel so remorseful when it looked like he succeeded?  It makes no sense.

In a video game Time Busters, he was an end boss exactly like this. It was along with Taz too where he would constantly yell;

STRIKE THE RABBIT or STRIKE THE FLEE-BITTING TORNADO
