Description
Goannas are excellent climbers, (just look at the claws and you'll see why) baby birds and eggs are a part of their natural diet. When disturbed they will climb the nearest tree for safety but occasionally what they climb isn't a tree but the cause of the disturbance. Apparently being climbed by a goanna isn't a pleasant experience, they tend to be difficult to remove once they reach the top.
