Howl, from Miyazaki's new production Howl's Moving Castle (Hauru no Ugoku Shiro). Again, I was bored (which seems to be one of my main motivations to draw 0.o) and, after seeing this movie multiple times (I love it!) I thought it would be fun to do some sketches. These are sketches from some of my favorite scenes. I'd like to do more sketches from this movie, especially of some of the other characters. Maybe eventually some colored ones. ^^(And, of course, nothing having to do with Howl, Howl's Moving Castle, etc. belongs to me. It's property of Miyazaki, Ghibli, etc... I earn nothing from this)

I always laugh when he runs out of the bathroom and runs into the wall but I do kinda feel sorry for him.
FUNFACT: His hair went pink in the book instead of ginger.

The hair scene, along with the scene where Sophie and Howl kiss at the very end, is my favorite scene from the movie. He looks so helpless in his blanket... =]

Well, the movie itself was based on Diana Wynne Jones' book, Howl's Moving Castle (or The Moving Castle). I've only red the book though, but the facial expressions are great!

Also the picture where he's sitting back in the chair with his hair falling off his face, you drew that amazingly. I love it!

WOW! I'm really impressed by how well you got the Miyazaki style down! I have serious trouble with it, so I gave up pretty quick and just adapted all the characters into my style. Well done!
(and the bit with the hair is the best thing I've ever seen in any movie!
