I'm not dead yet!

Just thoroughly ready to be done with this being computer-less nonsense!!

Anyways, I'll give a better news report in an upcoming journal, for now I'll just move on to the art presented here!

I've discovered two more good, good comics you fine people might also find enjoyable :3

On the Left we have the comic Color Blind done by the lovely who is also an enjoyable personality to chat with and ever-receptive to inquiries after the world and races created in her comic! You can read it on her DA account or go to the website: colorblindcomic.com/ which appears to be a few pages ahead usually with fun sections such as 'About' and 'Fanart'!

The characters displayed are two of the Unicorn's race, left is Lt. Faber and right is General Lee. Their general attitudes are displayed with Lee's optimism that they are nearing their goal on the map, and Faber displaying his general feel about the whole journey XD A little 'whoop-dee-doo' finger swirl while leaning on his halberd. I plan to try and color this in the same way that the creator does with layering markers. Wish me luck!

Then on the Right we have a fanart of two characters from the comic A Redtail's Dream by and it can be read on her website: www.minnasundberg.fi/ and is it ever a beaut! It has soooo many things going for it! Epic story, characters you can identify with, and an ADORABLE pup sidekick that makes his curled-tail visage work in whatever form he's put in! (Spoiler: a balloon is NOT one of the forms he takes during the comic XD) And I find myself really, really liking the lead because well... he's not Mr. Perfectpants Loves Everybody, he's kind of a self-serving bum-muffin and hates doing more than absolutely necessary and I honestly think he and I would get along pretty well :I

Anyways the human is Hannu and the doggie is Ville. I inked this normally then tried using a brush pen for the first time to get more dramatic linage in, plus I read one of the artist's tutorials on her site and it spoke about using a lot of black. I tried to put more in where I thought it'd work, and it certainly is a lot more dynamic that most of my line arts! Anyways, I plan to try and color this with watercolor to make it appear more like the art of the comic. Wish me double luck on that one!!
