Bio: Sunset Shimmer and Rainbow Dash had a short lived romance in college, during which Sunset became pregnant after a drunk night together. She decided to not tell Rainbow, as they had just broken up when she found out. She quickly packed up and moved back to the pony world, and upon explaining her situation to Twilight, she was welcomed in open arms to live in Ponyville.

Candlelight is upbeat and optimistic, and highly competitive. She is pretty introverted though, and loves to read. When spoken to, she can get quite arrogant, but she really means well. Her mane is shaggy and out of control, a trait inherited from Rainbow Dash, so she ties it up and cuts it to keep it out of her face. Without her hair ties, her mane flies everywhere.

She has a crush on Gemstone, who spends lots of time with her. She feels she'll never get Gem though, as she believes Gem is too pretty for her. She is content just spending time reading and studying magic with her best buddy, even if they'll never become more than that.
