Description All that Hazel related paper work may have finally been getting to Victorine. At least the folks at the station seem to think so. The higher ups have decided that Victorine needs a break from Hazel and prescribe her some physical therapy via Yoga. To ensure she attends her classes, Katelyn tags along, and ends up helping out in more ways than she could of imagined.

A far too common misconception for the morpher characters.
They're not slime normally, that is simply one form they're capable of (And one that's very popular.).

The whole idea behind the morpher species (According to me anyway) is that they're beings of memory. If a morpher thinks it, a morpher can be it. However way they grasp that concept, or how they see themselves using their powers determines a lot about what they're capable of, and no two morphers go about it the same way. Or you can just look at it on the surface and think of them as people who have gained shapshifting powers.

So, they're basically not physical beings...  Which brings up the question of 'how does a memory crack its neck?'

Also, are they literally memories, or are the limits of their transformation simply bound by their memory/knowledge?  I suppose I can see how that'd work out... I haven't seen a detailed explanation around, I'd love to see that.  But for now, I'll be a dick and speculate on someone else's concept!

So, they're not material beings.  But they clearly seem to interact with the physical world.  Perhaps the 'slime thing' is simply them not actively having a form.  When they want to be human, they're behave like a human for most intents and purposes.  But when they don't want to be a particular form they just become a blob of pseudo-matter, the mere suggestion of form.  Similarly, when one of their forms is disrupted, (because, interacts with the physical world...) they're rendered back into pseudo-matter temporarily.

Fusion, meanwhile... is essentially a crude synthesis of the memories of both.  As their material guise touches, their minds connect, link together, and their bodies merge.  It's fortunate that it is a crude synthesis, because that means the gestalt being isn't, exactly.  It's essentially the result of an interaction/consensus between the fused parties, not a total union - they're all in there, they don't cease to exist and create a new person, as one might think.  Which neatly avoids quite a few problems.
Well, unless you maintain a fusion for a long time.  Then, the synthesis becomes closer and closer, gradually subsuming its component identities to become a new entity.

oh that's a relief, cause that be an atrocity if people couldn't seperate when fused.

Of course, that just raises awkward questions about the poor girl resulting from the fusion...

Unless it's something like I rampantly speculated above...

If you're referring to Victorine, she's totally a morpher as well. Most characters in this series are fully capable of things like this.
