YES I MADE IT IN! (It's plastered all over my journal.) The first round battle is coming but your going to have to hold your horses. First, I've got to figure out a battle plan. Then, I've got to script it out,and then I've got to draw it.

I LIKE it! This is an excellent entry! I'll be very surprised and rather sad if you don't get into the contest. 
I love the signs! I'd forgotten that part of his bio. (I read your comment to Lathrine and SuperKay. XD I agree, all mute cartoon characters must have the ingrained ability to create signs. And he certainly can't use sign language w/ that boxing glove, so he's gotta have SOME means to communicate!) And the panel of him being sad because the cold had no brain in the last page was perfect.
This page does a great job of showing us a bit of his personality; he's very conscientious and is willing to go to great lengths to keep his infection from spreading - even by jumping into mysterious portals. Definitely strikes me as a nice guy.

I enjoy long and detailed reviews to no end. If they're positive it gives one such a warm fuzzy feeling and if they are mixed or bad it lets me know how to improve.

That is his special talent. The Magical ability to make narrative signs appear exactly when they are needed and then vanish without a trace when they are not... Or maybe thats a trait of all mute cartoons.

so actually he could fling a lot of signs at his opponent and then theyd dissapear so the enemy would never know what happened (has image of zombie throwing lotsa sings in rapid succession XD)

So I read on his character sheet. Still, I love the whole 'signs that appear out of thin air' idea. All ways have, all ways will. So Joey makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. :'D
