As much as I like the animation and use of different styles on Gumball, the characters seem a little flat and one-dimensional for me, but I'd still watch that over Problem Solverz.

I tried to watch Problem Solverz, wasn't a fan. Gumball though got me hooked in the first showing.

I feel like I'm in acid when I watch Problem Solverz. Alfie's vice makes me feel insane, but it's still funny.

it's rather nonconventional
the character animation is incredibly crude, but it's balanced by the large amounts of detail that goes into the backgrounds

Can't say I watch either, yet given the preference one usually chooses a root canal over a lobotomy sans the anesthesia. Meaning I choose The Amazing World of Gumball any day.

I actually like the art styles of Gumball and Adventure Time, but haven't been able to get through Problem Solverz. It would seem funny enough, but not fun to watch.

Problem Solverz is a bizarre experimental cartoon created by a group of post-pop group of artists
It was originally supposed to air on AdultSwim, but the executives decided to air it on their daily cartoon block instead
It's known for it's nonconventional character designs, crude character animation, extremely bright colors, highly detailed 8-bit pixelated backgrounds, frequent use of flashing lights, electronic soundtrack, and surreal plots
The watching of Problem Solverz can actually cause real physical pain, mostly ones eyes hurting, and major headaches
Once you however manage to get used to these things, it's actually pretty enjoyable (if taken in small doses)

Frankly I don't care for either of those shows. Especially Problem Solverz just looks UGLY. Call me a little vain, I just like good aesthics in cartoons, not whatever style that one show is in.

It's weird
The art and animation are incredibly crude at first glance, but upon further inspection are actually full of many subtle details (especially the background)
The colors are extremely bright, and everything is moving all the time
The writing and dialogues are highly surreal and nonsensical, but actually follow their own twisted logic (ninjas invented hide-and-seek, girl scouts are evil, robots will abduct you in your sleep)
When you watch it for the first time, your eyes will hurt, you'll suffer nausea, and most likely be confused as hell
Once you get used to it, it's actually a really fun ride
Really just depends on how much abuse you are willing to take

Well action cartoons are different. They rely more on toys to get by on the network than ratings.
Plus, SBT's ratings weren't as good as Ben 10 or Star Wars. They were just alright.

*cue SBT fanpolice barge in* SBT's ratings were actually some of the highest on the network, but most just automatically assume the ratings were low because that's the usual reason the show gets canned.
Everything else you said, including the Ben 10 and Star Wars thing, is true, but SBT had very competitive ratings~

Feels that way to me since Gumball just seems like another Chowder or Flapjack (I grew up in the nineties and prefer Cartoon Networks older stuff that isn't on anymore to the new stuff, so that's probably why).

Well Gumball is kind of like another Chowder since the people who made Chowder created that show XD
But Gumball has a bit more plot than Chowder..I think.. or more characters anyway XD
I loved the 90s cartoons on Cartoonnetwork too but I still like Gumball ;D
