I adore this!!! Your pencil work is superb - you have a masterful understanding of tone, shading and colour and know exactly when and how to use the lead. The attention to detail and careful craftsmanship is stunning - I love the way you've given her hair it's texture and thickness, and that wild elegance that frames her face so well, the way her ear sits behind her hair, and the detail you paid to the hood of her robe sitting on the crown of her head so delicately and the way it smoothly runs off - nice perspective there. You've got a firm handle on visual communication, too - the way her head tilts, the way she directs her eyes and the look in her eyes all suggest something very complex - not just generalised evil, but something sinister, calculated, wise and devious and dangerous (Hey - you have to expect it from a former-Jedi-cum-Sith-Warlord, right?). You've given her a wonderfully crafted profile too, not just physically, but in the picture. It's very alive, it has a lot of character, and there's something about the aura of dark wisdom she gives off, particularly in those eyes, that is just gorgeous. I always loved Revan, especially in KOTOR II because I thought of her as one of the few Shadow Dancer-type characters in the Star Wars universe. It was such a refreshing change from cookie-cutter ideas of 'Good' and 'Evil' to see someone who realised that she had to embrace the darkness to protect the light and that there were bigger things out there than squabbling between Jedi and Sith. You've nailed my vision of Revan as being as wise and alluring as she is dangerous and powerful. Serious props to you!!! It had to be faved

Oh. My. Gosh. I've seen this picture around and I absolutely love it! It was actually the inspiration for one of my drawings because I love the shape of her face. Again, awesome job! I'm so jealous of your colored pencil abilities -- I always ruin pictures if I try to use colored pencil... :/

I used Evangeline Lilly as ref for this one. I generally use her for my female Revan

I've seen many depictions of Revan but this one just seems the most realistic of what you'd expect the character to look. I wish the canon version was female, I would have loved to have seen a 3d movie about Revan than all the Clone Wars stuff combined.

I don't mean to nag you, really, but I also thought I'd say that a completed version of this picture (shoulders, etc) would be just brilliant! I'm sure I wouldn't be the only person who'd love it! In fact, i could even see it becoming the very Face of a Female Darth Revan!
